Smith River
The Smith River is the crown jewel of the wild rivers coast.  This family friendly run is about three miles from our put-in at the South Fork down to the bridge below Jedadiah Smith Campground.
We'll guide your family along as we find the best swimming holes and sand beaches.  The water here is crystal clear and the scenery breathtaking.   Take a
stroll through the majestic, Stout Trees
Grove.  Here you will walk among 2000
year-old, 300 foot giant redwoods.
This is a perfect summer run for families with easy (class 1 and 2) rapids.  The run takes only three hours (depending on how much time we take to play).   For a challenge, try paddling up the South Fork gorge on our inflatable stand up paddle boards.  Picnic or not, we’ll create a family float that is unforgettable.
